One Stop Center
The goal of the DeKalb Workforce Development’s One—Stop Center is
to provide an efficient conduit for businesses and job seekers to link
and serve each others workforce needs. Our one-stop center links job
seekers to employers. We also provide informational services, workshops,
referrals, access to career information, Internet accessible computers,
fax and telephone services, and more to create a one stop shop.
Workforce needs are provided by our one-stop partners, educational,
community and faith based organizations including:

• DeKalb County Department of Family and Children’s Services
• DeKalb Technical College
• Georgia Department of Labor
• Georgia Perimeter College
• Goodwill Industries of North Georgia, Inc.
• Housing Authority of DeKalb County
• Jewish Family and Career Services
• Educational Opportunity Center at Georgia State University
• Partnership for Community Action
• Decatur Housing Authority
• Job Corps
DeKalb Workforce Development averages about 1500 to 2000 persons a month.
The one — stop center contains a wealth of materials for customer use.
• Books containing updated information on resumes, cover letters, interviews,
best jobs for college graduates and more.
• Career exploration materials
• Labor Market Information
• Social Service referrals
• Adaptive equipment is available for persons who are hearing and visually
impaired.
• WIA Eligible Provider List
• Literacy Services
• Career Counseling
• Job Fairs
• Veterans Representative
Customers who find employment through the one-stop center may receive
some assistance with child care, transportation, and other needs for
the first two weeks of employment or until a first paycheck is received.
DeKalb Workforce Development’s One—Stop Center also has a matured
workers program for job seekers age 55 and up.
The One-Stop center has universal access, meaning all job seekers, no
matter which county you reside in are welcome to use our center.
Our center hours are Monday through Friday 8:30am – 5:00pm
