The Business Relations Unit provides workforce development services
to the business community that guarantees excellent customer service,
project management, and ultimately result in a qualified applicant pool.
The intention is to save the business owner both time and money while
simultaneously contributing to the economic development of DeKalb County.
All elements of the Business Relations Unit will uphold the vision and
integrity set forth by DeKalb Workforce Development. The Business Relations
team of DeKalb Workforce Development is charged with building and strengthening
DeKalb County’s E3 Initiative by providing DeKalb’s business community
with a qualified and skilled labor force.
Mission
It is the mission of the Business Relations Unit to bring the perfect
combination of resources and expertise to businesses that will produce
a skilled labor force and complete customer satisfaction while saving
time and money.
Business Relations Provides Businesses with the following Services:

Applicant Pre-Screening- Screen all applicants to ensure that you receive only the most qualified candidates to interview, thus saving time and money.

Customized Training- Train current and future employees to meet any special requirements the employer may have.

Facility Use- Provide space to utilize computers with Microsoft Office Suite, administer job fairs, conduct interviews and orientations, and more.

On-The- Job Training- Train employees as they work; giving them hands on experience while DeKalb Workforce development reimburses employers up to 50% of the wage rate during training.

Project Management- Manage all aspects of recruitment, marketing, and pre-screening of applicants.
